(man in the case of a couple and the coreographer or leader in the case of rueda.)

In an exceptional case the adjudicators headed by Jury can
determine the time order of the performances. You will find a sheet with the
exact order of performances on the changing room doors. The performances
of those performing in more than one or the same  category will be
separated in time so that the dancers will have time to change their dance
suits, relax and prepare for their next performance.

Changing rooms:

Changing rooms with toilet and showers are available for the competitors.
( two 20-square metre rooms and two 50-square metre rooms)
Competitors will find their names on the doors of their changing rooms.

Supervisor on the stage:
The backstage movements of the competitors are guarded and their
stage-call is done by a stage supervisor, whose name will be indicated
on the changing room doors.

The host of the show:
Competitors are encouraged to start their performance right after the host
has called their name.

Stage:

- panorama
Size: 200m2.
3 metres from the front edge of the stage there are two supporting pillars
which narrows the width to 8m.
Any performance involving upright movements over 2 metres is to be
reconciliated with the organizer of the competition. The stage itself is
covered by smooth, well-sealing parquet (strip floor) over which a thin
layer of ballet carpet is laid. After each performance the stage is cleaned
should the stage got messed up. Competitors themselves could ask for that, too.

Lights:
The stage is illuminated by colour- reflectors as well as a fill-in-flash at the
back and a spotlight.

Using the set and stage accessories:
Competitors must provide the set needed for their dance performance.
Accessories such as hats, shawls, scarfs, umbrellas are allowed but all
things that could be dangerous (eg.: glass, petard or cigarettes ) are not.

A team can consist of not more than 20 couples and can perform
only one coreography.

Dance suits:
Competitors can wear any chosen costumes. Adjudicators will judge
contestants' costumes or outfits matching their performances.

It is extremely important that the stage background is black so dancers
are strongly encouraged to wear contrasting costumes!

Groups an teams (music of up to 4 minutes)
All others (music of up to 3 minutes)

Music - CD - DJ:
Performers must provide their own music on an audio CD (written CD-s
are accepted).  Please protect your CD's by having covers for each one.
Also, please identify your CD by putting your name, name of the song,
artist's name and length of each song on the CD. Please prepare at least
2 CD's and make sure that the performance music is the first track on them.
It is very important that you give your CD's to the DJ assistant in
half an hour after arriving at the competition. The assistant's name
will be indicated on the changing room doors, too. The DJ will put the
CD on right after the designated time. Participants are encouraged to
provide as good quality CD's as possible since the assessment might
as well depend on this factor. It is worth selecting a song that is unique
and will less likely to be selected by other contestants.

The competition is lead by a host on the stage and the music of each
performance is started by the contestants themselves with the cooperation
of the DJ, who is on stage, behind the curtains. Dancers are encouraged
to have a music with a few seconds' intro in order to allow their coming
into the stage since it is sometimes difficult to judge when exactly
the music starts after the CD has been put on.

Restarting contestants' routine:
Should the adjudicators judge decide so, contestants are allowed to
restart their routine up to 2 times provided it is not the competitors' fault.
Dancers can re-perform their routines depending on the adjuditators' decision.

Safety- Behaviour- Cooperation- Discipline:

Organizers expect that each of the contestants' goal should be a participation
in a clear competition with sportmanship. Those purposely disturbing the
contest in any way will be disqualified. Participants as well as audience are
kindly asked to move about and behave decently. Routines involving
violent, combative or criminal elements causing fear are also disqualified.
Participants are encouraged to make sure that their performance does not
hurt other nations or cultures! Motto: It is not winning but learning what is important.

Documentation:
An official video and photography will be made of the competition.
(We are negotiating with as many as 3 TV channels! In the case of
a reasonable agreement  the contest will be recorded and later broadcasted.)

Videocamera/ camera: Vdeo and photo production is prohibited.

Assessment:
Presided by the head of the adjudicators, who does not take part in scoring.
Fairness and clarity of the competition is ensured by the head of the adjudicators.

Adjudicators:
Each adjudicator according to their best of their professional knowledge
and taste decides on the I,II,III prize winner. They have a definitive
assessment system and by signing the scoring sheet they represent
their own professional judgement of value, which can apparently be
subjective but cannot at all be partial. The routine of the contestants' will be
assessed and the scores will be aggregated  in the break.

Scoring:
Numerators will count the scores on sheets handed in by the adjudicators.
Having completed their task, they will hand the final results
over to the head of the adjudicators.
